Strange shape

This pigeon definitely was a slimmer version than the ones we usually get. He seemed very content watching the world go by on the fence. On seeing this photo I realise the fence needs some TLC. They are due to build in the field next to us soon was hoping they may replace it....however would prefer no building at all really!!
