Historic wall

Colonial farmer-settlers occupied the Northern Rivers area of NSW in the late 1800s. Many came from Scotland and Ireland and brought skills to build dry stone walls, using abundant basalt stones. This wall, and others in the area, we’re built at that time. It is lasting well, and is clearly cared for and treasured by the property owner. The extra is a more expansive view of the same wall, on North Creek Road.
