fluttering flame

Hubby and I went for a short ramble in the woods today. Truth be told, we were trying to escape the heat of the day here! It felt like summer this afternoon.
So we headed for our nearby nature center to walk along a stream, and the woods were alive with moths/butterflies/fritterlaries/fuzzy things with wings. (As you can see I really don't know the difference.)
I especially liked this one because of the shape and color of the wings. It reminded me of a flame. Yeah, it was that hot.
