After the Flood

At the height of the last flood a torrent of water crossed the road and over the bank, undermining the footpath and threatening this power pole. A big block of concrete plus sandbags is holding it steady at ground level, while high up straining wires attached to big poles are bracing the top where the arms, wires and distribution box are. Fingers crossed.
