Checking the rain gauge

Using an iPhone to photograph Australian wildlife is frustrating and generally unproductive EXCEPT for Kookaburras! They know a camera when they see one and will usually manoeuvre themselves to display their best angle.
This fellow is helping me measure the overnight rainfall.
