Stella Maris

…is an inland vessel seen on the Rhine today going upstream near Biebesheim, Hesse. The name is somewhat misleading. There are a couple of seagoing namesakes to be found. - Fortunately the water traffic is possible on the upper Rhine due to a slight rise of the levels, whereas the middle Rhine is still closed to most of the vessels.
