Water Lily

The American white water lily (Nymphaea odorata) is abundant in Crosswinds Marsh, a place where I often walk. The lily pads almost completely cover the small lake there, but this fading flower was the only one that I could find during my visit. I think the blooming season for water lilies is over now.
