It Finally Rained

After 2 months of 40 Dec C plus heat and sun the heavens opened and the rains came down - in fact about 25 cm in one day.  This is a view through the camera lens with some of our garden in the blurred background.  Then the water started flooding in the front door and I had to buy sandbags to stop the water getting in to the front rooms.  As the saying goes "When it rains is pours!"  In other news, we sold the plane and were able to upgrade the camper van and are now preparing for our exciting trip to the UK and Spain for my niece's wedding - both my sisters and all their kids and grandkids will be there so that'll be great and we'll be able to visit Leyna's family, new baby and friends in the UK.  Liverpool having a rather disappointing start to the season, but its early days!
