Around the lake/pond again.

Riding the 18 miles of leafy lanes over to Tamar lakes ParkRun this morning I observed just 6 motor vehicles. Misty in the valleys, sunshine and warmth on the tops. On the hilly ride over I saw rabbits, Jays, woodpeckers, goldfinches, sleepy buzzards and plenty of jackdaws. Herons, Canada geese, long tailed tits, cormorants and several species of duck at the lake.
Today 181 people ran, jogged and walked the course with 31 different clubs taking part. My 21:24 was a “PB” for the gravelly surfaced lap around the lake/pond/puddle now at just 25% of its capacity!
This week saw the return of the ‘inter-county Scone off'. Raising an amazing £224 for the RNIB. Devon raised £105 with the jam on the top, Whilst Cornwall's cream on the top took £119.
