E.B.

After being for a hair trim this morning, we had a visitor arrive. An email from her last night enquired if we would be in this morning after 10:30 as she was driving up from Bristol, (having been at her son’s and his family for a few days), en route to stay with her daughter and family in Derby for another short stay.
It was good to see her and catch up with all her news. Her other son and family (who had been staying with her for awhile, she lives in Bude, ) had not long gone back to New York.) They got stuck over here due to the first lockdown then decided to stay for longer, putting their children into the local school, and then, like everybody else, they were working “remotely” .
Following her visit we went out late for lunch, after which I did some gardening. It has been quite warm today.
The photo is some of the last of the perennial pea plant resting on an article I was reading (in French) ahead of my Zoom get together on Monday.
Thierry has informed us that there will be another person joining us, which will be good.
I am behind, again (!) but will once again catch up. It isn’t a chore, as I like looking at all of your photos and narratives, (long or short,).
Hope you are all having a reasonable weekend so far.
