Hanging in the garden

Today I finally got all the mess cleaned up from canning, crab picking, baking and freezing foods for the winter. It felt so good to move everything out and scrub the kitchen and utility/pantry from top to bottom. It took most of the day. Hubby went fishing with a friend down the bay so I had no interruptions. They caught a few Blues and nice mess of Spanish mackerel. He kept a few fish and we will grill them tomorrow night. When my work list was done I retreated to the garden with my kindle. There were several little humers buzzing around keeping me company. Just love these little creatures!
