Giant House Spider

I was up early this morning, sleepily preparing to make coffee, when I noticed a large spider trying in vain to escape from the kitchen sink.
It needed a helping hand to get back outside.
I admit that I jumped back when I saw it.
With great care I trapped it in a juice glass, then captured its photo before releasing it outside.
I think the photo shows it's a Giant House spider not a Hobo spider.
