Lady Boys of Bangkok

An institution at the Fringe; they've been here for 21 years, they say. About to fold up the tent for this year as everything winds up.

Farmers' market first; then talked to someone also buying coffee who will be glad when the rush dies down a bit. He works in one of the whisky shops at the top of the Royal Mile, and understands he's part of the show, doing continuous improv, even though not on the bill as a performer.

Afternoon walk along the S side of the Meadows, back by Sciennes, Warrender Park and Bruntsfield Links. Sat in the afternoon sun and watched the variety of training on show of the people with dogs.
