Birdbath Study

Tucked away amongst the flowers is a birdbath.  I put flat rocks in it so little birds can wade in since it is rather deep.  I thought I would have a bit of fun with it, treating the image more as a painting than a photograph.  The leaves and phlox petals are falling now.  Everything is shifting from full summer to early autumn.  August is nearly over and soon the school buses will be rolling again.  So glad that phase of my life is over.
