A day in the life

Fika

Fika, the Swedish word, describing "a set of traditions and social behaviours that surround the consumption of coffee, particularly as a social lubricant" as wikipedia nicely explains it. A message popped up in our group-chat at half past nine saying: welcome to a fika with freshly baked muffins and blackberries. Who can resist that? we spent an hour and more, lubricating our social community, having a good time. Then, everyone went to their doings for the day.
For my part, I fetched some things from my storage at my old place and then went home to finish my floorwork in the shed, which is now done! It feels particularly good since we're promised lots of rain for the next couple of days.
