In the Valley of Desolation

From Addingham, we drove up to Bolton Abbey and did long country walk (a bit of a "stroll down memory lane" for me too, as this was a place that I went to as a kid with my dad). From the Abbey we crossed the Wharfe and walked up to the Valley of Desolation waterfall, then returned to the Wharfe Valley, walking upstream to a crossing point before walking southwards past the notorious Strid rapids.

Later, we headed into Leeds (through a thunderstorm) and met up with Gus and his girlfriend Eve for dinner.
