We Are The Mods

As it is the August Bank Holiday weekend the Island is full of scooterists. On the Sunday they have a ride out from Ryde seafront and beforehand they display their scooters and stand around chatting. The ride out took 30 minutes to pass me and a rough calculation would be 3000 bikes rode past me.
Before the spectacle began this one took my eye. Very bizarrely, I looked at the IW Scooter Rally Facebook page and the very first story actually featured this particular scooter!!! The owner lives in Cambridge.
I spotted one that came from Edinburgh although a lot of the groups seemed to come from the Midlands.
It was quite a spectacle watching them go by.,
