Bark Face and Other Delights

A bit of a mixed bag today, I had too many good things to pick from and that doesn't happen often enough, so I've put these three together.

This paperbark tree has big strips of bark hanging off it and this piece was waving in the wind. As I walked closer it really seemed to be a wonderful and strangely poetic bark face staring back at me. Hope you can see it too? :o)

The blossom must be the last hurrah for this bush as it was the only one!

The sunrise was very red and moody with lots of dark clouds looming. They were just for show as we had no rain but the temperature rose to 30c and it was a rare hot and humid last day of April here in Perth.
