New neighbours

Walked to the excellent local cinema through the park and was delighted to see a swan with 5 cygnets in the pool. We did have a pair but they died at the beginning of the year from bird flu and I’ve missed them. I think this is a family that I’ve seen on the canal and wonder if one parent is rehoming them before returning to their mate.
