Valley of the River Char

I am sure I must have blipped this view before. Its taken from the south end of Lamberts Castle, looking south, the four miles or so down the valley to the little Dorset town of Charmouth.

Through it runs the little river after which the town takes its name before it empties into Lyme Bay. This is the first time I've been able to see the view clearly for some time.

It shows how the "moorland" like vegetation on this part of Lamberts Castle drops away to the lush farm land, and the sea, some 600 ft below.
