Shattered

What I had hoped to have as a photo was a sneaky wee selfie with Dr Janina Ramirez, who we went to see at the Edinburgh Book Festival today. But by the time we'd got to the signing tent after the excellent talk, her book had sold out. We didn't hand around, stopping briefly for a chat with friends we spotted, with both of us more than happy just to pop into Edinburgh, and pop back out, with no desire to buffet with the crowds and rubbish....
