Tower tour collage

After a long and busy day at the Plum Festival we got slots on the last Abbey tower tour at 4:15… so glad we did ! I started at 10 in the tea room and then across to the abbey to sell teddies for zip lining and parachuting; R was on the dragon boat stall all day.
The climb is over 200 narrow steps via the floor over the vaulted ceiling in the nave, the bell platform and finally onto the roof. We had such great views in all directions: the Malverns, Bredon Hill and all the different parts of town. It was wonderful to see Pershore from above.
Then 200 steps down and home to rest and do not much tonight..
