3000 feet underground

It's interesting that 3000 feet underground doesn't look any different than 20 feet underground. It does feel different, though. The deeper you go the hotter it gets, caused by friction of the earth's movement and heat from the mantle. It's humid, too. This mine goes down to 5800 feet where it's nearly 100 degrees.
