Wary meeting of birds on the sunflower feeder

I've noticed more birds around the garden in the last week, often feeding on the sunflower seeds or suet pellets. But on some days they consume very little and take to the trees to hop around the branches and leaves feeding on tiny insects.

I poked my camera out of my study window when I saw an odd assemblage of little birds gathering. I chose this picture as it isn't often you see three species gathering together relatively amicably. At about the same time I saw blackcaps,  many long-tailed tits, a pair of bullfinches and robins on the feeder, as well as blackbirds and dunnocks hopping about the ground and on branches. I haven't seen a nuthatch in many weeks.
