Being Calm

The narrow Tavistock Canal in West Devon winds it's way for a couple of miles through a dark, rocky channel from Tavistock, to then disappear into a tunnel that takes it under a hill. It emerges into the light again at Morwellham Quay on the River Tamar. I find the walk through the trees, along the canal very calming. This small bridge is not far from where the canal disappears underground. There is also a small lock here with the inscription "Being Calm Hearing All".
