Trethevy Quoit

Another day of good weather and I was out with a friend on Bodmin Moor.  We started at the Minions where there is so much to photograph, including ancient mining buildings, stone circles, the cheesewring rocks and stone circles.  This took up a lot of our time before we then headed to Trethevy Quoit where this stunning burial chamber from the late Neolithic period is located.

After this we headed off to Colliford lake where we viewed the petrified remains of trees and other structures that are revealed by the lower water levels here.  A busy day with lots of images to process.
