Hmong headdress

The Hmong are the indigenous people of Vietnam and Laos and have very elaborate headdresses. This is an artistic take by an Australian Vietnamese Hmong artist with a creative use of unlikely materials. Zoom in and you will see tennis balls, rackets, garden rakes and gloves, golf tees and many many beads (which are traditional). I haven’t yet worked out what the pins are with the aqua blue tips. See the extra for another version. Back blip from the Queensland Art Gallery.
