Harvest

It took a couple of hours at the allotment this morning just to do harvesting so well is everything doing. The French beans are abundant, the plums are now ready, the autumn raspberries taste great and we've just started to pick the curly kale.  Unfortunately the birds have eaten the early sprouting broccoli plants that hadn't even gone in the ground so I'm hoping someone will have spares so we've got something for next spring.

P & K are up in Edinburgh for a few weeks so we caught up at Mother India.

The bin strike which has been ongoing since 18 August ended today - yipee!  As I was heading out I saw the Gardner's Crescent bins being emptied.
