Solomon's pools - Palestine

My delegation spent the day with students and groups working to preserve historical places and get them on the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

in 2002 The World Heritage Committee expressed their concern over the Israeli possible destruction and damage to Palestinian heritage. The Solomon's pool is one of 20 cultural and natural sites that are of great value for the World Heritage.

The Solomon pools are a part of a hydraulic system with aqueducts, tunnels, dams and channels. The watersystem developed in stages from the 2nd century BC until the middle 1st century AD. It was restored during the Byzantine and the Ottoman Era.   The water went from Hebron to Bethlehem to Jerusalem.
