Bristol Cathedral and Slavery

We called into the Cathedral to listen to the Organ Recital at 13:10.
It was on but at Christchurch and that's somewhere else!

So we stopped and viewed the very interesting but oh so sad Slavery presentation which shows how much of the prosperity of this lovely building was provided by this horrendous trade in human beings by human beings.

The extra records  the story of one owner and slave descendants who still bear his name.

The cathedral was started in Norman times and continues to evolve to this day.
