Single Leaf

With James gone home it all seems rather quiet!
So I took myself off to Charlecote this afternoon, thinking I might find something detailed as the flat grey light didn't look like it might do much for a landscape. 

The first few leaves have fallen,  probably due to the heat of a couple of weeks ago.  I liked the look of this singleton.
There are two old wooden posts in the lake which I have always liked the look of - a mono of them in the extra.  Possibly a subject to return to with a tripod and filters?
