Cornwall Park

A short walk in Cornwall Park along Twin Oaks Drive.
They are not holding a Daffodils Day this year, more’s the pity.

When they do, there’s fun and games for the kids. Face painting, dancing, musicians playing. It is a lovely way to welcome Spring. But not today.

The daffodils are out, and so too are the narcissus and snowdrops.
And people are here, strolling on a Saturday afternoon.
But the sun disappears behind a blanket of clouds, and suddenly there’s a bit of a chill in the air.
I turn my camera to the skies, fascinated by the trees. I love the shapes they make; all those branches reaching out to the light.
