Winkworth Arboretum

A range of foliage colours on display at the National Trust's Winkworth Arboretum. Particularly dramatic are the bright red Katsura trees (Cercidiphyllum japonicum) on the far bank of the lake, just visible if you look closely near the centre of the photograph.

Meanwhile, a Gymkhana awaits the Trust's younger visitors in the play area close to the Arboretum's entrance (as seen in today's 'Extra').
