In a whirl . . .

These lovely seed heads from a neighbour's clematis are gloriously 'hairy', and have a gorgeous swirl seen from the back.
Life is sometimes like this - ie in a whirl;  after a wonderful holiday with my sister and family earlier in the year, we heard that her cancer is back, this time in her throat.  She goes into hospital on Monday to see surgeons and discuss options. Very worrying being so far away, but I am sure I will go and visit when we know more about what is happening.
The dancing horses were sadly a disappointment - not what we expected at all and very disorganised. Can't recommend it nor would I go again, sadly.  

ps 2000 hrs - just spoken to big sis and she is very positive and  glad to be in such good hands, bless her.
