Quadring Church

This is a little fenland church out in the wilds of Lincolnshire. It had an open day this afternoon of its parish records and quite a lot of people were there. 
I met an interesting woman who rescues injured bats and who monitors their numbers. The church has pipistrelles. She has been recording numbers for 30 years and said things are not looking good due to the decline in the insect population. Not a surprise, but not what I wanted to hear.
