The youngest Grandmaster of Belgium

This boy is 16 years old and already a great chess Grand Master (the highest title possible in chess) and Belgium Champion.

Today Daniel came to play a simultaneous exhibition against 20 players of the chessclub in our town. This special simul was organised because of the anniversary of the chessclub. Most of the time the simul giver (the highly rated player) wins practically every game, because the difference in playing level is so big he (or she) even knows what to play when playing 20 games at the same time. But every know and then someone gets a draw. One of the older and experienced players maneged to play a great game of chess and finished with a nice draw.

E was one of the players. He enjoyed playing against Daniel because of the challenge. But after some time people came to me (I was helping out with the activities for the little ones) and told me E was getting a nice attack on the board. So I was happy that E having a nice game and not finished in a flash. After an hour or so later I heard applause in the room next to the room where the little ones are playing. E pulled a stunt! He won!
