Celebrating Spring

I picked this lovely peachy daffodil from one of the beds outside the stitching cave this morning before breakfast as I walked back from inspecting the birdbath which I'd scrubbed with vinegar and baking soda yesterday. The birdbath looks much improved and the garden has had the tender expert care of Adrienne today , who looks after some of the more vigorous tasks for us , doing 6 hours once a fortnight. An expert gardener , she is an absolute gem.
