Spring Wind

I walked to the lake first thing, but found it terribly windy.  I wanted to capture the rising sun on the poplars, so a successful mission.

After breakfast went to church, the flowers are the extra.  The hymn for today is 'Dear Lord and Father of Mankind'.  I can remember singing this hymn in school assemblies about 70 years ago!!!  Still a favourite.

After lunch I had a walk to the lake and back, so have clocked up 10K steps.

Tomorrow Plan A is to park at Albert Town, cross the Hawea River on the swing bridge, then walk around Butterfield Wetlands to the Clutha River.  Should be a sunny day, but probably still windy.
