That's the way to do it!

Today, after three long years, saw the return of what is normally the annual  Littleton  and Harestock Show, held a couple of miles out of  Winchester.
The show had obviously been missed as today it was very well attended. Fortunately,  the weather was perfect so everything could  run to plan. While my husband was manning the RSPB stand,  I, and our recently widowed friend, YY,   explored the  show's various stalls and displays. Popular events were the Dog Gymkhana, a fire-eater, Salisbury  Big Band, the flower and produce exhibition and, of course, the  Traditional Punch and Judy show. My friend comes from Malaysia and had never experienced this very peculiar British form of entertainment  before, but she was soon joining in with the rest of us, laughing at the wife beating, crocodile teasing, and  putting the baby through  the mincer to make sausages !!! It's truly the stuff of nightmares, rather like  our favourite fairy tales. Does it do children any harm to  watch? Should it be preceded by a "trigger warning"? Discuss. Personally, I doubt it is as harmful as some of the  content available on-line.
