Newborn

Meet Tobia.  What a stunning joy he is.  Attentive eyes soaking the world in. Most often calm (the parents’ credit).  Chatty already (had forgotten the miracle of the babbling along to join the conversation).  Frantic arm movements (he’ll fit in well in Italy).  And so wonderful to watch day by day gathering in strength and skill.  And nice to see our own son being a superb and gentle father  .. while it slowly sinks in that this makes us grandparents.
