New Basket

I bought myself a new proving basket in the market while we were away (hidden under the dishcloth but it’s there, honest.). Tried it out today and have finally produced a rye loaf that actually looks like a rye loaf. Too scared to slice it though in case it’s crap!
Otherwise it was just a bit of shoe shopping with S, making a cracking dinner from allotment courgettes and leftover meatballs and … Episode 1 of House of the Dragon. Think I’ll be watching Episode 2.

PS S just tried a crust and gave it the thumbs up. Phew.
