Erythronium (Dog's Tooth Violet)

It's always a pleasure to see winter dormant plants wake up in spring and start flowering.
Extra:  Early potatoes (Rocket) were planted today and covered with a blanket of pea straw and a netting topping.  Hopefully, the netting will deter
rabbits, weka and pukeko.
