A glider being towed into the clouds

I heard the plane's engine first and as soon as it came into sight, I knew that it was the tow for a glider. We have two glider airfields within a five miles and when conditions are right the air can be full of them.

Generally the gliders are launched from the ground by towing vehicles. When they want a longer journey the towing plane will be used to quickly get them up to higher altitudes. This glider looks to be quite high already and yet it disappeared from view behind the treetops whilst still being towed.
