Modern metro in Porto

Porto's metro wasn't designed for tourists; the stops tend not to coincide with the main landmarks. Nonetheless, it was a great way to get around and avoid the bother of city-centre parking – apart from the environmental benefits of course. The journey over the river bridge is totally recommendable, and ten-trip tickets worked on the buses too.
