Mapengo

'Mapengo' is Swaili meaning 'gap' and it is used for just such a situation. The first day of May and my darling daughter lost her first tooth. It was extracted without much drama; perhaps because Mom is an ex-dentist [turned banker...but we save that story for another day]. So with great skill and agility, the tooth was released from the lower jaw with lightning speed. And now her tongue is busy exploring that new opening.

Hope you all are having a very relaxed labour day!
