Back to normal.

If normal is the burn in spate and the sound of it thundering down as I work in my study - then we are back to normal after torrential rain overnight  

Quite re-assuring in a way, for although it has not been anything like as dry here as in other places, there hasn't been much rainfall in the last few weeks.
