It’s raining stair rods!

Not an expression you hear these days, and certainly most if the younger generation won’t know what stair rods are!

It really described the heavy downpour we had at lunch time well.
Mr C called me to come and look at this pigeon.
Sat on the bird feeder, and didn’t budge.
Just looked like he was enjoying a shower.
The rain lasted about 20mins, and then the sun came out, and the pigeon flew off.

The sun is out now and it outside it feels very humid. Think it has done the garden good, and next door’s lawn looks greener already.
Hope some of the water has found its way into the reservoirs.
