Dining Room ...

... in a large fully glazed over atrium at the Wallace Collection, a museum a bit removed from the center of London which we visited over midday today. It's old-fashioned in that its walls are absolutely jam packed with paintings, often three- or four-high--not always easy to separate the wheat from the chaff (so to speak :)  The Dutch 17th century seascape by Wilhelm Van de Velde the younger in the extra is one of the best--large and impressive.  In the evening we had dinner with our friend Liz in a nearby fish and chips restaurant.  Lovely to see her again.
