Poppy Seed Heads

These poppy seed heads came from the garden today. All the stems were fairly straight and I couldn't really find a composition I liked. I quite liked though the haircuts on the heads, and as I looked at the image it began to remind me of a Jack-in-the-box. No idea if you can still buy these, or what people would say about them now.
(PS Yes you can still buy a Jack in the Box. Modern versions though seem quite tame compared with some of the ones produced during the Victorian era).
