Big Little City

I helped my friend Geoff move some stuff from his apartment today. The views from his place are quite spectacular but instead of blipping the best view I shot I tried a bit of tilt shift on this image.

If you view this large you may see that the waterfront road scene looks miniaturised. In the background is the Auckland Harbour bridge which is bigger than it looks.

Auckland is going through a housing crisis at the moment which might be obvious. There is only one high rise apartment block in the distance and I am looking across a whole heap of prime real estate.

That's all I could muster tonight as I am getting a bit heavy eyed.
